New Triumph Trident photos, pictures, images

The new Triumph Trident has been unveiled and while the company has been discreet about its details, they have released a lot of pictures. As is evident, this post is dedicated to the photos of the Triumph Trident. We will try and explain whatever details we can assume from the photos. The Trident is an old nameplate in the company’s line-up and it being ressurected means they have a lot of hope as far as sales are concerned. The model will go on sale in early 2021. It is around the same time that it will make its way to the Indian market as well. The double whammy will be that it is a three-cylinder bike and second, the most affordable Triumph. Now, that’s something, isn’t it? Take a look at the images below.

The new Triumph Trident has a roadster design and looks much like a Speed Triple

The short exhaust will remain in the production bike as it is usually a Triumph signature. This white paint scheme shown here is to just mask the details.

New Triumph Trident
The new Triumph Trident should come with all-LED headlights along with DRLs, Illumination-wise, there shouldn’t be an issue then.

This stubby rear-end of the bike will also be retained as will the single-piece tail section. The rear tyre looks like a 150 section.

The instrument console looks very much like the ones on the Husqvarna 250s – a circular dial. It has a gear indicator, instantaneous fuel economy, range, redline indicator and others.

The engine could be borrowed from the new Street Triple. It will be detuned for use in the new Triumph Trident. The mouth watering prospect of getting in a 3-cylinder engine will be the lure towards the Trident.

A rear monoshock is visible here along with the swingarm. The stubby exhaust looks good
