The Porsche Taycan is the company’s first ever all-electric car. Contrary to expectations, it isn’t your average Panamera but instead is closer to the 911. Don’t let the turbo badges fool you. This is an electric car after all. The Porsche Taycan gets two electric motors, placed on each axle. Combined, these electric motors produce 620PS. The Turbo means an overboost button that will take the power to 680PS momentarily and enables it to hit 100kmph in 3s. In the Turbo S model, the boost takes the power closer to 800PS and allows the car to reach 100kmph in 2.8s. Porsche says that the car is capable of running 415km on a single charge. The li-ion batteries produce 94kWh.
