2019 Hero XPulse 200 image gallery

Hero MotoCorp has been developing a bigger-engined Impulse for the enthusiasts. The motorcycle will officially be called the Hero XPulse 200 and will be launched toda. It will also be exported to the countries where Hero MotoCorp currently has a presence and where its chief competitor the Honda CRF250 is present. Hero has released details as well as images during a dealer presentation. You can read our full story here and in the meanwhile following are the things you can expect from the Hero XPulse 200.

The Hero XPulse 200 has been designed by the Hero CIT in Jaipur
The headlight is a classic round unit and features LED lights

The fuel tank will likely hold 12 litres of fuel

Bits and parts are shared with other Hero motorcycles like these set of blinkers

The upswept exhaust of the Xpulse 200 is similar to the one used in the Impulse but has a new design theme to it

Hero has given an arresting tail lamp design and if you can zoom in, you will notice the engine kill switch, a first for a Hero motorcycle.
The all-digital meter console is new and features a cool backlight. It is also the first motorcycle to feature turn-by-turn navigation
The beak is typical of adventure motorcycles. The cover just above the wheel is to protect the rider from muck splash
The 19-inch wheel at the rear and 21-inch at the front is what usually adventure motorcycles use

The long travel suspension is for given on adventure motorcycles and Hero also offers front-wheel ABS on the XPulse 200. It can also be switched off
There is a luggage rack at the rear making this bike truly a multi-purpose one
The seat height is low and while there are no figures yet, expect it to be even comfortable for those of a small stature
The motorcycle boasts a new 200cc air cooled single engine, shared with the Xtreme 200R, that makes 18.4PS of power and 17.1Nm of torque. A 5-speed transmission transfers power to the rear wheel
