To celebrate the first anniversary of the Tata Tigor launch, Tata Motors has launched the Buzz edition in India for Rs 5.68 lakh (petrol) and Rs 6.57 lakh (diesel), ex-showroom Delhi. The Tata Tigor Buzz is a cosmetic addition to the range and is based on the Tigor XT trim. The prices of the Tata Tigor Buzz are Rs 10-14,000 more than the corresponding XT trims. Tata says that bookings for the car have already started and deliveries will happen as per the normal schedule of 10-15 days.
For the extra money, customers will get a black roof and ORVMs done in glossy shade, grille with a red colour insert, wheel covers with dual tone inserts and limited edition badges on the outside. Inside, the AC vents will get a berry red colour while the upholstery will be done in a premium fabric trim. Other features of the Tata Tigor XT trim continue which means the Buzz edition will get body coloured bumpers, LED turn indicators on the ORVM, front power outlet, ConnectNext infotainment system with four speakers, turn-by-turn navigation, LED temperature gauge, driver seatbelt reminder, follow-me headlights, rear parking sensors, auto dimming IRVM and ABS. Airbags sadly are given a miss and are not available even as an option.
The Tata Tigor Buzz will be offered with a choice of 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel engines. The petrol engine makes 85PS of power and 114Nm of torque whereas the diesel makes 70PS of power and 140Nm. Both the engines can be specified only with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Tata will be selling the Tigor Buzz alongside the regular trims for the next three months or till stocks last.
