Engine of the Tata Tiago JTP

The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder unit from the Nexon and is turbocharged as well. While in the Tata Nexon, it makes 110PS, here it produces 114PS of power and 150Nm. Power is channeled to the front wheels through a new 5-speed gearbox. Tata Motor claims a time of 9.95s from 0-100kmph for the Tiago JTP while the Tigor does it in 10.35. The top speed of the Tata Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP will be around 185kmph.

In terms of suspension, the ride height has been lowered for additional handling prowess while the shockers too have been stiffened. Tata Motors is said to have uprated the brakes but the technical specifications sheet says there are drums at the rear and discs in front. Both the vehicles should be priced approximately Rs 1.2 lakh over the corresponding XZ trims.
