Tata Motors has launched the a new trim of Nexon compact SUV in India. The Tata Nexon Kraz is a factory limited edition unit and is available in both petrol and diesel. The petrol Tata Nexon Kraz prices start from Rs 7.14 lakh while the diesel is priced starting from Rs 8.07 lakh. Tata Motors has based the Kraz on the XT trim of the Nexon. The prices are around Rs 25,000 more than that of the corresponding XT trim. These Kraz edition vehicles will be available on sale for approximately the next 90 days.
New features of the Tata Nexon Kraz
The Tata Nexon Kraz will be available only in a new black colour paint scheme, with the roof getting a dual tone effect. There are also neon green accents both inside as well as outside. The grille gets a green accent and so do the ORVMS and wheel caps. The boot gets a Kraz limited edition badging. Inside, there are green accents on the AC vents and the stitching for the seats is also done in the same colour. For the dashboard, Tata Motors has used a piano black colour.
New features of the Tata Nexon Kraz +
It retains all of the features found in the Kraz but adds an automatic climate control, electrically foldable ORVMs, cooled and illuminated glovebox, boot lamp, rear AC vents and shark fin antenna. Speaking of which there are roof rails as well as the Kraz+ edition badging at the back. The empty space between the infotainment as well as AC controls is taken up by the Kraz+ badging.
There are no changes to the mechanicals of the vehicles. This includes the 110PS petrol as well as diesel engines. Tata Motors will offer the Kraz with only a 6-speed manual transmission. The Nexon AMT doesn’t get this special edition. Dual airbags, ABS with EBD are standard across the range.
