Along with launching special or limited edition models, Tata Motors is also bringing out new variants of existing cars. The Tata Hexa XM+ is the latest example. The Tata Hexa XM+ sits above the XM trim and is priced at Rs 15.27 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. This is Rs 1.1 lakh over the XM trim. However, one gets additional goodies for the price. Moreover, the huge Rs 3 lakh price difference between the XM and XT trim has also been brought down due to the launch of this trim.
Specifics of the Tata Hexa XM+
Since this is based on the Hexa XM trim, the XM+ offers all that the former has to give plus some more. The new bits include 16-inch alloys, front fog light, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, soft touch dashboard and leather wrapped steering wheel. There is also automatic climate control, reverse camera with parking sensors, rain sensing wipers, auto headlights and cruise control. Tata is also happy to offer a sunroof as a genuine accessory. The company will provide the sunroof with a two year warranty.
The Tata Hexa XM+ will be powered by a 2.2-litre 156PS/400Nm turbodiesel engine. This engine can be ordered only with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Hexa is also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission and 4×4 configuration. Tata Motors also offers a spruced up Hexa variant called the Downtown edition.
On October 10th, Tata Motors will launch a new variant of the Tigor as well. This will be called the XZ+ and bring in a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system complete with Apple CarPlay. There are the decked up looks as well with new detailing for the projector lights and more. There will be a marginal price increase too. Tata may just offer the XZ+ trim with the petrol engine and in manual trim as of now.
