Suzuki India has launched the Suzuki Burgman Street scooter for Rs 68,000 ex-showroom Delhi. This is India’s second maxi scooter after the now defunct Kinetic Blaze. There is only one trim of the Suzuki Burgman Street. It comes with all the bells and whistles like a front disc, combined braking and USB charging slot. This is also the first time Suzuki India is using an all-digital console for a scooter. Bookings have already begun for the Burgman Street, with deliveries expected to begin soon. We will be riding the scooter soon to give you our first ride impressions. However, before that here are some images to chew on.
The Suzuki Burgman Street looks like nothing in the market today and that could be its unique selling point
The all-digital meter is borrowed from the Gixxer but doesn’t have the rev counter. It is also a far simpler unit than the Ntorq’s
The end can looks derived from the Suzuki Intruder
The windscreen is non adjustable and Suzuki at the moment doesn’t offer the option of a bigger unit too
SEP adds to the mileage and Suzuki claims that the Burgman Street will run 53.5km before needing a refill
The LED tail light arrests one’s attention
The indicators are not LEDs and are regular bulbs. They are integrated into the body work as well
There is a single trim with a front disc and Combined Braking System being offered
The underseat storage isn’t an improvement over the Access 125’s unit and can store up to 21.5 litres of luggage
The 125cc single cylinder engine is shared with the Access 125 and makes 8.7PS/10.2Nm
The LED headlight is really bright and will be an asset while riding in the night
The lockable box of the Burgman also houses a USB charging slot
These are the three colours available with the Suzuki Burgman Street
