Skoda India has launched the Kodiaq in a new trim. The Skoda Kodiaq Laurin and Klement trim is priced at Rs 36 lakh and is a lakh rupees more than the Style trim. All prices are ex-showroom, pan-India. For those of you who came in late, the Laurin and Klement versions are usually jam packed with features and are the top spec for any Skoda. It has been almost two years that we are seeing a Laurin and Klement edition in India.
What’s new in the Skoda Kodiaq Laurin and Klement
The Skoda Kodiaq Laurin and Klement gets badges on the grille as well as at the back proclaiming L&K. It also gets a new Magnetic Brown paint scheme. In addition to all this, there are now cameras under the wing mirrors, 360 degree view and new alloys on the outside. Inside, one gets nine airbags, a virtual cockpit seen on the likes of Audi cars and black decorative elements. The engine of the L&K trim is unchanged and boasts a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 150PS/340Nm. The gearbox is a 7-speed dual clutch unit and power is sent to all the four wheels via an AWD system.
The state-of-the-art eight-inch capacitive touch display in glass design reacts to the touch of a finger, not just to pressure; and is a part of Amundsen infotainment system developed by Skoda. The SmartLink+™ all-in-one technology integrates SmartGate™, alongside Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink™, as standard.
The premium Canton Sound system features 10 speakers, including subwoofer, and has a power output of 575 watts. New age connectivity solutions along with BossConnect™, integrated with the Skoda Media Command App, help occupants control functions like radio, music, and navigation from the comfort of the rear seat.
Other Skoda Kodiaq niceties continue including the panoramic sunroof, powered front seats, dual zone climate control, power nap package and more. There are little somethings in this Skoda that people will love to experience.
