It is sad to know when someone passes away and especially when they are young. The affable BMW India president, Rudratej Singh, passed away today. He was 46 and had an heart attack this morning. Further details are awaited at the moment from BMW India. Not much details are known about his family though.
Rudy had worked with a plethora of companies before joining BMW India. He is famous for his stint with Royal Enfield where he was again the president. People know him for being a sweet natured, no-attitude boss. Prior to RE, he had also worked at Unilever and other organisations. He carried an experience of more than 25 years. He joined BMW in April 2019. “His transformational vision and strategic orientation played a crucial role in the navigation of BMW Group India in a challenging business environment,” BMW said in the statement. “His demise comes at a crucial junction when BMW Group India was in midst of implementing strategic measures for strengthening the dealer network across India.”
A couple of weeks ago, BMW India lost another of its officials, Mihir Dayal. Mihir was the head of sales and was fighting a battle with cancer.
You will be fondly remembered, Rudy! Rest In Peace.
