Piaggio has launched the 2020 Vespa VXL, SXL along with the new Aprilia Storm. The SXL starts at Rs 1.13 lakh ex-showroom, the SXL starts at Rs 1.22 lakh ex-showroom and the new Aprilia Storm begins at a price of Rs 87,082 ex-showroom. We saw these models earlier at the Auto Expo 2020 and the company has opened bookings for these scooters on the Aprilia and Vespa websites. Interested customers can book their choice of scooter from the fleet that is showcased on Vespa’s e-commerce platform and do the same for the newly launched Aprilia Storm scooter on Aprilia’s e-commerce website. Potential buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 2000 on booking a new Vespa or Aprilia for Rs 1000 on the e-commerce platform or at the nearest dealership.The 2020 Vespa VXL and SXL models remain unchanged if compared to the outgoing model.
What’s new with the Aprilia Storm?
The scooter gets features like LED headlight and DRLS, USB charging port, adjustable rear suspension and boot light. The Vespa models also feature monocoque full steel body, high definition three-coat body colours and ABS or CBS with twin pot calliper disk brake. The VXL and SXL models are offered with both, 125cc and 150cc engine options along with CBS or ABS options.
The newly launched Aprilia Storm houses a 125cc engine that rides on 12-inch black alloy wheels with 220 mm, twin pot calliper front disc brake and a drum unit at the rear. The scooter also offers a part digital dash that shows speed, distance, fuel level along with other information.
