Audi has shown off the new 2019 A4. The 2019 Audi A4 looks sleeker and more desirable than before and is slated to be launched in the Indian market early next year. Audi has introduced the A4 facelift just in time when the Mercedes-Benz C-Class as well as the Volvo S60 have got one. Soon, it will be the turn of the BMW 3 Series as well as the Jaguar XE.
Changes to the European-spec Audi A4 include the 3D-Singleframe grille, a more pronounced front and side aero kit, revised front and rear bumpers as well as 18-inch wheels for the Sport trim. For the S and Sport trims, there is a separate air inlet which takes in the air and lets it pass through the wheels for cooling the brakes as well as aerodynamic efficiency. S trims also get 19-inch wheels as well as diffusers with different tail pipes as compared to the other trims. The ‘Turbo Blue’ colour you see here too is exclusive to the Audi A4 S trim.
The base SE variant of the Audi A4 2019 gets SD card-based MMI navigation, 7-inch coloured driver information system, auto folding mirrors and more functions on the updated steering wheel. Along with auto folding mirrors, the Sport trim gets 4-way electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seats. Black Editions as well as S line gets high beam assist in addition to the aforementioned changes.
The engine options remain unchanged – a 1.4-litre turbo petrol that makes 150PS/250Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that is good for 190PS/400Nm. Expect a slight increase in price when the Audi A4 facelift makes its way to our country early next year.
