The facelifted Mercedes-AMG C43 is here and is priced at Rs 75 lakh, ex-showroom pan-India. The model comes in as a CBU and is available now for booking. This car was introduced globally last year.
What are the changes in the Mercedes-AMG C43?
The face gets the AMG treatment and there is a new grille done in matte iridium silver. The stylised front splitter, the side skirts and those AMG 19-inch alloys signify the car’s intention. There are also twin tailpipes done in chrome that add more pizzazz to this car. Inside, one can see the all-new Artico upholstery as well as the sporty looking red stitching. A new digital instrument cluster has also been added to the Mercedes-AMG C43.
The steering wheel of the Mercedes-AMG C43 is new and covered in Nappa leather. There is a heads-up display too and needless to say, the front seats are powered and have memory function too.
A 390PS/520Nm 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine lies under the hood. The power is up by 23PS. A 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is used in this car. Mercedes-AMG claims a 0-100kmph time of 4.7s while the top speed is limited to 250kmph.
Competition for the C43 AMG comes in the form of the recently launched BMW M2 Competition as well as the Audi S5 sportback.
