Maruti Suzuki S-Presso unveiled: To not have rear power windows

Maruti Suzuki will be launching the S-Presso micro SUV in India on September 30, 2019. This is one segment that was started by Mahindra with its KUV100. The Mahindra KUV100, for that matter, isn’t doing well at the moment. The S-Presso is built on the Heartect platform. We are sure that Maruti will eventually move the entire range of cars to this safer (claimed) as well as lighter platform. The company today released a bunch of images of the car and while it might not look conventionally good, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will have takers. Take a look at our image gallery to understand what we are talking of.

The S-Presso looks a mix of the Kwid and KUV100. It subscribes to the SUV stance but we believe it will marketed as one too.

The grille is a duplication of the one found in the Vitara Brezza.

The headlamp is a halogen unit and in place of the fog lights, one gets a LED DRL strip. Use of black bumpers too have upped the overall SUV quotient
A broad look at the interior of the car suggest a Mini Cooper-inspired central console. The orange accents, while matching with the exterior of the car might be optional.

A driver airbag is standard equipment while a passenger unit will be optional right from the base trim. The VXi (O) will have dual airbags as standard.
The cabin looks fairly spacious but the lack of adjustable headrests is something which even the Kwid has to deal with. There is also a lap belt for the middle passenger
Maruti claims that the boot is spacious and by the look of it, it should be around 180 litres
