Mahindra has a formidable product in the TUV300. The slab-shaped SUV is very spacious, has a torquey engine, offers seven seats and decent interior. However, sales haven’t taken off especially since the TUV300 for some, is still a crude option to the Nexons, Brezzas and EcoSports. Mahindra has been giving out styling kits on the TUV300 right from launch. These kits spruce up the premium quotient, making it a more desirable buying option.
Now, a new kit has been announced by Mahindra and Mahindra, The Mahindra TUV300 Superstyler kit brings with it a faux skid plate, surrounds for the lower bumper, wheel arches and side moulds made of brushed aluminium, a dummy bonnet scoop, black mirror caps and roof. Speaking of roof, Mahindra has also added auxiliary lights on it. Expect the rear to have adornments in the form of the skid plate and outlining for the lights. The inside too will be done up by a bit by way of updated upholstery.
Mahindra hasn’t announced the prices for the kit yet but we expect them to make a formal announcement soon. The price should be in the range of Rs 30-40,000. One can get these fitted at Mahindra showrooms across the country. Currently Mahindra offers the TUV300 with the 100PS/240Nm 1.5-litre diesel engine. The lower powered 85PS diesel engine has been discontinued now. One can order the bigger engine with a 5-speed manual or AMT. There is also the bigger TUV300 plus which was launched recently.
