History of Mahindra electric SUV

Mahindra and Mahindra first showcased the XUV Aero Concept at the Auto Expo 2016. At that time, the company said that it will produce the vehicle based on customer reaction. However, it seems customers wanted a higher range. Now Mahindra Electric Mobility is working on building a 350km range battery for the XUV. At the 2018 Auto Expo, the company displayed the electric KUV100 called the e-KUV100. It looked production ready. Mahindra says that the KUV100 electric will run 140km on a single charge. With the optional fast charger, one can charge the vehicle up to 80 per cent of its capability in an hour. The e-KUV100 will have smart phone connectivity, remote diagnostics, cabin pre-cooling, location tracking and even monitor the driving pattern and battery status.
