UP-based Lohia Auto has launched two vehicles from its Humsafar range. The Humsafar DLX which is a driver plus five passenger autorickshaw is priced at Rs 1.84 lakh whereas the Humsafar 2000 loader is available for Rs 1.80 lakh. Both the prices are ex-UP. The vehicles will be available across all of Lohia Auto’s 100 outlets in India. Both the vehicles, Lohia says, have been designed to carry heavy loads and have durable shock absorbers too.
Both the autorickshaws use a 435cc four-stroke diesel engine that makes 8.2PS of power and 22.2Nm of torque. There is a four speed gearbox aligned to this engine. The cooling mechanism for the engine is via oil circulation and through forced air. The passenger rickshaw weighs just 450kg and has a top speed of 45kmph. There are 10-inch wheels on all three corners and the retardation is brought about by drum brakes with auto adjust function. The front suspension is telescopic in nature whereas the rear is an independent shock absorber. There is also a 10.5-litre fuel tank available as well.
One can buy the products off the shelf with a two year warranty and can also avail of an extended two year warranty.
