A couple of months ago, the Ninja ZX-6R was spotted at a dealership in India. Kawasaki India has now launched the ZX-6R in India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh, ex-showroom As is the case with most Kawasaki products, the Ninja ZX-6R pricing is introductory and is set to rise in a few days. Customers who pre-booked the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, will get delivery from February 2019. The motorcycle is assembled in India and comes in as a single seater.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a middleweight motorcycle and will sit above the Ninja 650. It boasts a 636cc inline-four cylinder engine that produces 130PS and 70.8Nm. The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox that has a slipper clutch assist as well as quick assist function. it is said that the ZX-6R’s engine has been tuned more for mid-range riding. In terms of rider aids, there is the Kawasaki Traction Control, that comes with three levels of aids and can be switched off too. Kawasaki also provides two separate modes for the power delivery. The motorcycle weighs in at 196kg kerb weight.
