Jeep Compass gets Freedom Pack extended warranty package in India

Jeep India is ensuring that its cash cow, the Compass, is constantly in the news for the right reasons. Just days after launching the Bed Rock edition of the Compass, Jeep India has now introduced a ‘Freedom Pack’ extended warranty for Compass owners. This extended warranty also includes a maintenance package and is available for Rs 50,000. Roadside assistance is also part of the deal.

In this offer, the customer gets 4th and 5th year, that is two years extended warranty, with two years roadside assistance support and maintenance package. This offer is valid till July 31, 2018 and is applicable for new customers who have taken the delivery of their vehicle from July 1 onwards.  This offer is not valid on Jeep Compass Sports available in petrol with manual transmission.

The extended warranty will start after the completion of the three years contractual warranty period for a further duration of two years or up to 1,50,000km, whichever is earlier. This extended warranty is also transferable to the second owner as well.

Jeep’s annual maintenance package with the Freedom Pack involves free engine oil change, engine oil, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter replacement, coolant, brake and clutch fluid top up / replacement, windscreen washer replacement, rear axle oil and transfer case top up for 4×4 trims. Jeep will also replace the accessory drive belt, idler pulley, tensioner and timing belt once in this period. For only the Jeep petrol, the spark plug will be replaced as recommended. Service centres will also have the transmission oil as well as automatic transmission fluid topped up as required. This package also includes wheel balancing as well as alignment. It is a given that there will be a general check up as well as top wash included in the package.

All this is being done to ensure that Jeep customers have a peace of mind while buying their vehicles. In the coming days, the Trailhawk edition, which is a hardcore off-roader, of the Compass will be launched. It will significantly be costlier than the regular trims of the Jeep Compass.
