While both the Jawa and 42 are powered by a 27PS/28Nm, 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, the Perak has a bigger motor. Powering the Perak is a 332cc engine which produces 30PS/31Nm. Apart from the Jawa Motorcycles dealership list, the other buzz will be about the media test rides that are expected to happen soon. These will give an insight on how is the quality of the motorcycles vis-a-vis Royal Enfield. It also remains to be seen how these retro masqueraders stack up.
