Jaguar Land Rover, true to its promise of making as many car locally, has started manufacturing the F-Pace Ingenium in India. The Jaguar F-Pace Ingenium petrol is priced at Rs 63.17 lakh, ex-showroom price in India. There is also a diesel variant on offer for Rs 63.57 lakh. Bookings have started across all JLR showrooms in India. Both the petrol and diesel F-Pace can be ordered in the Prestige trim.

The Jaguar F-Pace Ingenium petrol is powered by a four cylinder 2.0-litre turbo engine. This engine is capable of churning out 247PS of power and 365Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is the lone option. Power is sent to the front wheels with AWD on demand being available. The diesel Jaguar F-Pace in the meanwhile continues with its 177PS/430Nm 2.0-litre motor. While no efficiency numbers have been quoted, expect the pairs of engines to be very efficient given that start/stop is standard as well.
Other features in the Jaguar F-Pace Ingenium petrol include hill launch assist, all surface progress control, traction control, dynamic stability, torque vectoring through braking and speed proportional steering. Six airbags, lane keep assist, emergency brake assist, whiplash protector and seatbelt reminder comprise the rest of safety features. A 360 degree parking camera is also available.
Comfort features in the new Jaguar F-Pace Ingenium petrol include 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Pro Service, Wifi hotspot, navigation pro, 380W Meridian music system, cooled glovebox, front electric powered seats, dual zone climate control and adaptive LED headlights.
This is a 2019 model and Jaguar has used the opportunity to add illuminated metal treadplates, chrome switches for the 10-way seats, suede cloth headliner and bright metal pedals. The Jaguar F-Pace Ingenium petrol competes against the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60, Audi Q5 and Lexus RX.
