Honda Forza 300 maxi scooter deliveries start in India

Last year, during EICMA, Honda had announced their gala plans for the Indian market. This included five all-new products coming to our market. While we thought these might be BS-VI products, it isn’t. The brand had clearly stated that these are going to excite the enthusiasts. Now, HMSI has gone ahead and started deliveries of its Forza 300 maxi scooter. While the price is yet to be revealed by HMSI, a source tells us that the on-road for this scooter is a whopping Rs 8 lakh. The vehicle is being imported in India as of now and four have been delivered so far. HMSI says that it displayed the vehicle at the Gurugram Big Wing showroom and received tremendous response.

Wow! Are there more details of the Honda Forza 300 maxi scooter?

Sure. The Honda Forza 300 maxi scooter is built on tubular steel frame that has a wheelbase of 1510mm. Honda has concentrated on mass centralisation with this scooter – the radiator as well as the battery are located between the underseat storage and fuel tank. Telescopic front forks and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock too have been provided. A 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheel ensure maximum traction. Dual channel ABS along with discs at both ends ensure stopping power.

There is also traction control that is linked with the fuel injection system. Speaking of which, there is a 279cc engine that boasts a single cylinder with four valves. The power is 25PS and the press release claims “excellent fuel economy”. A v-matic transmission is paired with this engine.

A 130mm fly screen can be electrically adjusted while the underseat storage can hold two full face helmets. This storage space can also be partitioned to hold additional goods. There is also a lockable glove box and a 12v charging socket. Keyless ignition is one of the features as well. There is also the fuel filler, digital-analogue instrument console as well as battery sensor.

This decision by HMSI previews the fact that the company actually listens to customer feedback. So, keep dreaming for your favourite automobile and HMSI may just fulfill your dreams.
