What’s special in the Honda Dio BS6?
The Honda Dio BS6 gets an updated design with a full-LED headlight for the Deluxe version. Honda has added a silent starter, engine inhibitor built into the side stand, 3-step Eco indicator, new dual switch for fuel tank and seat, as well as more. The fuel lid is external now and a front pocket too has been added to the mix. Honda also provides an engine kill switch while the wheelbase has gone up by 22mm. Of course the usual graphics and all are there too.
Let’s talk about the engine. It is the same unit from the Activa BS6 and makes 7.68PS/8.79Nm. There is a silent starter, lower friction pistons and fuel injection. No claims on fuel efficiency but expect it to go up slightly.
Speaking on the launch, Minoru Kato, president, CEO & managing director, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt.
