Hero Pleasure+ Platinum launched; looks more Vespa, Access now

The Vespa is renowned world-over. People want to buy one provided they can afford it. In the same light, many have tried to ape the Vespa’s design language too. We have the Suzuki Access in India and now there is also Hero. Hero MotoCorp has decided to bring in new festive editions of their existing vehicles. First it was the Maestro 125, then there is the Glamour Blaze and now it is the Pleasure. The Hero Pleasure+ Platinum scooter price in India is Rs 60,950, ex-showroom. Hero has priced the scooter at a premium of Rs 2,000 but then this price is justified. You get new features and a colour scheme. The scooter will be available in showrooms from the last week of October but bookings are on now.

Hero Pleasure+ Platinum

What’s new with the Hero Pleasure+ Platinum scooter?

The new colour scheme we were talking about is the black paint. Hero has given the inner panels a brown colour. There are many chrome elements as well. This includes mirrors, muffler protector, handle bar ends and fender stripes. Apart from this, one also gets a low fuel warning light, back rest, dual-tone seats with Platinum badging, 3D logo and white rim tapes. The scooter is based on the top-spec alloy wheel version.

Powering the scooter is a 110cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled and fuel-injected engine. This engine makes 8PS of power and 8.7Nm. Hero claims that compared to the BS4, this one generates 10% faster acceleration as well as better fuel economy. The Hero Pleasure+ competes with the TVS Jupiter as well as Honda Activa 6G.

Naveen Chauhan, head – sales & aftersales, Hero MotoCorp, said, “The iconic Pleasure brand enjoys a strong connect with the customers. The new Hero Pleasure+ Platinum with its enhanced design elements is surely going to strengthen our scooter portfolio and provide a perfect combination of riding comfort with style.”
