The BMW 3 Series GT version is quite popular in our country. Admittedly so, BMW India has launched a new variant of it. The BMW 3 GT Shadow Edition price in India is Rs 42.50 lakh, ex-showroom. The BMW 3 GT Shadow Edition comes in the M Sport design that brings in the bells and whistles. An aggressive body kit is part of the fare and different colour schemes than the 3 Series. These include white, red, black and blue colours. A gloss black theme is used for the exterior. This can be seen on the grille, around the head and tail lights, 18-inch jet black alloys, and a black chrome done exhaust tip.Inside, the air vents have a chrome edge to them, aluminium door sill plates, M sports leather steering wheel, ambient mood lighting and more is available. A universal wireless charging too is provided.
As part of the infotainment, an 8.0-inch touchscreen system is provided with BMW iDrive. This one has got Apple CarPlay through Bluetooth as well as USB, Park Distance Control, rear view camera display, and integrated navigation. At the heart of the engine is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol motor that puts out 252PS of power and 350Nm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox helps transfer power to the rear wheels. 0-100kmph is dispatched in just 6.1 seconds.
