Bajaj Auto has launched its 2019 Pulsar 150 collection in India. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon, as it is called, has certain cosmetic embellishments. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon price in India is Rs 64,998, ex-Delhi. One can order the new Pulsar in three different colours – Neon Red, Neon Yellow and Neon Silver. The motorcycles are available to order now through all the Bajaj dealerships in the country.
What’s new in the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon?
The Bajaj Pulsar 150 Neon is a cosmetically enhanced version of the regular Pulsar. There are new graphics and the yellow accented Pulsar also dons a matte paint scheme. The rear alloy wheel too has a decal while the rear cowl has a 3D logo as well. Colour cordinated pilot headlights, aluminium grab rail as well as a side panel mesh complete the changes.
In terms of mechanicals, it is identical to the front disc Pulsar. This means a 149cc dual spark plug, BS-IV engine that produces 14PS of power and 13.4Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This Pulsar gets a rear drum brake. Unfortunately, ABS hasn’t been introduced yet.
Bajaj recently introduced the Pulsar 150 Classic and the Neon too is reminiscent of the same. The twin disc Pulsar is also available. It is likely that next year, ABS will be introduced to the 150 and 180 range while Bajaj is also working on updating the engines to meet BS-VI norms.
Commenting on the launch, Eric Vas, President (Motorcycles), Bajaj Auto Ltd said, “Pulsar has been the #1 sports bike in India for the past 17 years. The Pulsar 150 Neon, with its fresh new looks, outstanding road presence and proven performance is set to be the first choice for any customer willing to move beyond a 100/110 cc bike. At a price of ₹ 64,998/- ex-showroom Delhi, upgrading to the power of a 150cc bike has never been easier.”
