The Nissan Magnite compact SUV has taken the Indian market by storm. The unbelievable good looks of this car is what is being discussed. Nissan India has ensured that this make-it or break-it product plugs all the gaps. While a few weeks ago, the design language of the concept was shown, now we have images of the interior. To say the least that they are very much in sync with the exterior will be an understatement. In fact, this could be one Nissan car that should help boost sales big time. The 2021 Nissan Magnite SUV takes on the Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport and Hyundai Venue. However, with a lone petrol engine, the competition might have an edge over it.
What all features are there in the new 2021 Nissan Magnite?
Nissan India first up seems to have an instrument cluster tilted towards the driver. This signals the SUV will be feature-rich. A big 8.0-inch touchscreen system dominates the cabin. There is also the digital instrument cluster as well as push-button start that are visible. An auto-dimming mirror too can be seen and it will make it into production as well.
The flat bottomed steering wheel has multiple functions and this could also include cruise control. No sunroof is on offer though. All in all, this 5-seater Nissan Magnite SUV will have a funky interior for sure. While boot space and like haven’t been discussed yet, we assume it will be at par with the competition. Something like 360 litres should be sufficient.
As far as the engine option goes, Nissan might use the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine from the Renault Triber. This engine has a peak output of 72PS and 98Nm. It is likely the tune could be higher for the 2021 Nissan Magnite. A turbo petrol engine of the same capacity might also be introduced and this could make 95PS/170Nm. A manual, CVT and AMT will be available.
