After launching the Hero Xtreme 160R in the Indian market, Hero has updated the prices of its BS6 Xpulse 200. The 2020 Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 price in India is Rs 1.11 lakh. The said price is Rs 5,000 more than the BS4 unit. Hero MotoCorp had started dispatches to showrooms two weeks ago. So, one booking the bike now will get it by the start of August. Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 changes

The 2020 Hero Xpulse 200 BS6 has got no visual changes. At least, not that are immediately apparent. A keen-eyed person will notice that the exhaust routing is new and the cat con bulge is visible as well. Fuel injection is a standard fare now. The 199.6cc, single cylinder now gets an oil-cooler as well. We’ve never heard of heating issues with the Hero Xpulse BS4 but it seems that the dedicated off-road demanded it. The cat con and oil-cooler have added 4kg more and the bike weighs at 157kg now. The Hero Xpulse 200 now makes lower power and torque than before at 17.8PS and 16.4Nm. This is down from the BS4’s 18.4PS/17.1Nm. A 5-speed gearbox has been provided.

Hero has given an arresting tail lamp design and if you can zoom in, you will notice the engine kill switch.

The bike comes with a five-year warranty and single-channel ABS. Through Bluetooth connectivity, navigation can be enabled on the bike and if the rider downloads an app. Interested in off-roading? This is the best tool available. More interesting is the availability of the Rally Kit. This one is for Rs 38,500 but brings in more ground clearance, better damped suspension, flatter seat and Maxxis tyres. But, it is not road-legal.
