The Honda Jazz has just received its first facelift since introduction in 2015. The facelifted Honda Jazz is priced between Rs 7.35 lakh – Rs 9.29 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. There are seven trims available and one can also order them in two new colours – radiant red metallic and lunar silver metallic.
Changes to the new Honda Jazz include different tail light design, chrome door handles, push button start for top spec trims, touch sensors on front door along with keyless remote, front centre arm rest, central lock hand switch, driver side vanity mirror and 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that hosts Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Beige interior upholstery is also part of the deal.
Honda says that they have improved the NVH characteristics of both the petrol and diesel engines. The 90PS 1.2-litre petrol engine is offered with a choice of 5-speed manual and a CVT. Interestingly, Honda has introduced the petrol engine with only V and VX trims – both get manual and CVT option. The diesel in the meanwhile is the 100PS/200Nm 1.5-litre unit. One can option it with only the 6-speed manual. One can order it with S, V and VX trims.
In terms of enhanced safety, the Jazz gets auto locks and rear parking sensors. ABS as well as airbags are standard across range. The Honda Jazz competes with the Maruti Baleno, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Elite i20.
