Any manufacturer worth his or her salt usually launches a customisation package with their new vehicle. After all, individualisation and personalisation of a vehicle is considered an extension of the owner’s personality. Or so they say! Mahindra too has got customisation options for its freshly launched Marazzo MPV. The Mahindra Marazzo MPV is built on an all-new chassis, has a new engine-transmission combo as well as a fresh list of features. While Mahindra hasn’t given a name for the individual accessories package, there are many to choose from. Here are a few things you should know about the Mahindra Marazzo customisation options.
Well, this one works in India and Mahindra is all too familiar with it. So, one can add on chrome to the headlamp enclosures, for the fog light nacelles as well as on the rear bumper and the mirror casings. Mahindra is also happy to provide a side step done in chrome. The roof carrier, rear license plate, shark fin antenna, door handles and even a chrome rain visor are available. Sadly though Mahindra doesn’t seem to realise that aftermarket bumpers guards have now been banned by the traffic authorities. Putting one on will attract a challan.
Executive Body kit
One can start their Mahindra Marazzo customisation with the Executive Body kit. This will bring in a front bumper skirt, side skirt, rear bumper skirt and a roof spoiler.
Premium Body kit
This kit is a bit more subtle in the entire Mahindra Marazzo customisation options. There is a front bumper add-on, cladding for the wheel arch, side mouldings for the body, rear bumper add-on as well as a rear spoiler.
Apart from all these options, can also opt for the Thule roof box kit, roof carrier kits, performance lightweight alloys or wheel covers depending on the trim. For the cabin, there are a choice of seven seat covers. There are also Marazzo branded anti-slip mats. Magnectic cling on sun shades too are available. To further enhance the looks, there is also the illuminated scuff plates and steering wheel covers.
Smart add-ons as part of the Mahindra Marazzo customisation
If you like me, prefer more of functional things rather than aesthetic, then you should be looking at these Mahindra Marazzo customisation options. How about a Pioneer head unit for the M2 trim of the Marazzo and speakers for it? Hertz speaker upgrade as well as Map My India navigation unit are available as well. Hella fog lamps. LED fog lights, DRLS, headlight upgrades, lounge lighting, car reading lamps, tyre pressure monitoring systems, smart trackers as well as tyre inflators too can be ordered. These will all fall in the genuine accessories category if you order them through Mahindra.
Front parking sensors too can be optioned on the Marazzo. A rear seat entertainment package too can be looked into. Mahindra also offers a logo projector lamp and a head-up display. You can also look at the car chiller and warmer.
If this will primarily be a chauffeur-driven car, then Mahindra has got another very good but expensive option for you ( around Rs 4 lakh). The front co-passenger seat can be electrically adjusted by a touchscreen console at the back seat. This will enable the rear passenger to have maximum seating space. There is also a dedicated tablet that has Android TV capability. The upholstery is done in leather as well. There are also courtesy lights. If you select this package, you will also get a wood finish to the dashboard as well as a 7-litre fridge.
Mahindra is going full guns blazing with the Marazzo and we wish the audience too accepts this offering as eagerly. Prices of the specific packages though will be revealed at the dealership.
