The Honda Activa has been the go-to scooter for everyone. So much so that people started calling scooters in general as Activa, away from the usual scooty talks. In a way, the Activa revived the scooter market here in India. Two generations of the Activa have changed from thereon and what we have now is called the 5G. The Honda Activa 5G received an updated instrument console, new colours plus full LED headlamps. At the same time, the engine is BS-VI compliant and is known for its reliability.
TVS got in the Jupiter in 2013. The scooter was developed on a new platform and boasted never seen-before features. These included the ride modes, external fuel filler as well as the bigger underseat storage. The powertrain too had slightly higher numbers than the Activa’s and boasted a bias towards performance. This was evident in the front disc offering. The latest iteration has got smartphone connectivity dialled in and TVS ensures that this one is quite useful too. You can check the features in our first look video. As for now, check the specifications below to see which scooter should you go for.
