Suzuki V-Strom 650 vs Kawasaki Versys 650 specification comparison

Kawasaki has had a monopoly over the middle weight adventure tourer segment in India. Benelli’s Trek 502 launch was pushed and hence the Kwacker enjoyed all the lime light. That was until Suzuki announced sales of the V-Strom 650 XT ABS in India. The middle weight Suzuki is pricier than the Kawasaki by a good lakh rupees. However, it has more off-road ready tools. Both are nearly matched in terms of the engine power but then the Kawasaki has alloy wheels while the Suzuki has spoked units. The V-Strom 650 also has 2-stage traction control while the Versys 650 makes do with ABS.  While we have ridden the Suzuki V-Strom extensively in Jaipur, this spec comparison should give you an idea of where the Suzuki lies against the Kawasaki. Scroll down for our Suzuki V-Strom 650 vs Kawasaki Versys 650 spec comparison.
