The Mahindra Marazzo is one revolutionary product from the carmaker. It is efficient, refined as well as feature loaded. Not to mention, spacious too. While there was no clear competitor for it, the closest one was the Maruti Ertiga. The latter though was an ageing product. That has changed and how. The all-new Ertiga is based on a new as well as lighter platform. It also brings in a new petrol engine. Efficiency of the older diesel too has gone up. Safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat mounts are standard. The Marazzo isn’t one to be left behind and also provides all safety features as standard. This definitely calls for a Mahindra Marazzo vs Maruti Suzuki Ertiga spec comparo.
That being said, the Marazzo is heavier and lacks a petrol engine in the line-up. At present, Maruti haven’t launched the Ertiga CNG. However, given the demand for CNG products, it is likely that a CNG option will be available soon. Mahindra had also promised to plonk a new petrol engine in the Marazzo. It will likely have a micro hybrid too. In this situation, the Marazzo petrol may end up being more efficient. At the moment, we have compared the top-spec diesels. Mind you, the Mahindra Marazzo vs Maruti Suzuki Ertiga specifications comparison will highlight only the relevant points. A proper comparison is on the cards soon. Keep watching this space.
