Well, its definitely not a glamourous job being a commuter bike. Well, with that pun out of the way, let’s focus on the two bikes we have here. You see, both are all-new. Hero has this habit of making all-new Glamour motorcycles every four years. It is a mystery though as to why because the bike sells well only in the rural markets. It does its job quite well too. The new Hero Glamour that you see here was launched this year and even has an updated engine. The details of the same are available below. What the specs don’t tell you is that this bike has an auto-sail function that allows you to ride it in traffic without using the clutch. Other salient features include the idle start-stop function, side stand engine inhibitor and service due indicator.
On the other hand, the SP125 is the only one that has got an optional six year warranty, silent start, all-LED headlights, and an engine kill switch. The motorcycle also boasts a lower kerb weight. However in the process of adding new tech, HMSI has upped the price. This could be a hindrance for this price conscious segment. The Honda SP125 is a nice bike on its own but here, we think the Hero Glamour ups the game with value-for-money.
