Audi India recently launched its first BS-VI compliant product, the A6. In this process, the company has axed the diesel engine and one can only buy the Audi A6 with a petrol engine that makes 245PS and 370Nm. A 7-speed automatic is paired with this motor. Audi India has added drive modes, five of them in all to ensure that the A6 driver isn’t left wanting for more. The claimed efficiency is 14kmpl. The A6 is kitted with features but space at the rear is a bit lacking because Audi doesn’t have a long wheelbase version.
Enter the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB. Mercedes offers it with only a long wheelbase version in the Indian market. This one ensures that there is space for the rear-seat babu. Price wise, the Mercedes may not have the edge, however given the versatility the Merc is a steal. Especially for those who want a diesel. You might want to scroll down and take a deep look in to the specifications of both the cars here and decide for yourself.
