Yamaha India has started its product offensive for 2019 with the launch of the ABS-equipped R15. Today, the Japanese motorcycle maker has brought in the updated Yamaha FZ16. The Yamaha FZ16 version 3.0 now features a revised look and brings with a host of new features. This will keep it relevant as well as up-to-date in the wake of fresh competition. The mandatory ABS too is available and the rear disc brake is a standard feature now. In terms of other features, the all-digital display now has a reverse LCD cluster. The headlight too is a full LED unit. The split seats are history and the regular uni seat has made its way.
There has been no revisions to the 149cc, fuel injected single cylinder motor. This one makes 13.2PS and 12.8Nm along with a 5-speed manual transmission. Yamaha says that this engine though has been tuned to produce linear power at lower down revs. Price wise, the version 3.0 price in India is Rs 95,000 and the FZ-S is for Rs 97,000.
