The KTM 250 Duke ABS gets a dual channel unit as opposed to the 125 and 200 Duke that get a single channel system. It also gets a rear wheel lift off protection. The weight of the 250 Duke has increased now by 4kg, owing to the ABS system. Apart from that, the performance shouldn’t have changed by much. The KTM 250 Duke ABS still boasts a 249cc, single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 30PS of power and 24Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox with a slipper clutch is provided as well. KTM says that the fuel efficiency will be around 30kmpl.
While there are no real world rivals to the KTM 250 Duke, competition for it will come from the Mahindra Mojo, Honda CBR 250R as well as the upcoming Bajaj Dominar 400 2019.
