Its been less than six months that the Kawasaki Ninja 300 went the CKD route. Of course, this brought in a lot to cheer about as the prices for the twin cylinder Kawasaki motorcycle came to less than Rs 3 lakh, ex-showroom. While there were only two colour options available earlier, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 now gets two additional options. These are ebony metallic moondust grey and lime green. There is no additional charge for these colours and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 price in India is still Rs 2.98 lakh, ex-showroom.
There are no changes to the refined 39PS/27Nm, 300cc parallel twin engine. This engine is mated to a 6-speed slipper clutch gearbox. The company has so far sold 1,300 units of the Ninja 300 since its CKD outing. The motorcycle is also the entry point into the fully faired Kawasaki range of sportsbikes.
The CKD operations also brought down the cost of spare parts of the Ninja 300. This has resulted in even more customers flocking to the showrooms. A list of the old vs new price for the spare parts is listed here. We do hope that other CKD Kawasakis too benefit from this new spare parts price list.
