Jaguar Land Rover has announced a special XJ50 launch in India. The Jaguar XJ50 price in India is Rs 1.1 crore. ex-showroom and it commemorates half a century existence of the XJ model. Bookings have already started while deliveries start in a couple of months. One can order the Jaguar XJ50 in Fuji White, Santorini Black, Loire Blue and Rosello Red colours. The Jaguar XJ50 competes with the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series and the Audi A8. The car is assembled in JLR’s Pune plant.
What’s different in the Jaguar XJ50
The Jaguar XJ50 can be ordered only in long wheelbase format. Compared to the standard model, the XJ50 gets few aesthetic embellishments. This includes new front as well as rear bumpers, radiator grille with chrome surrounds, 19-inch alloys, unique XJ50 badging on the side and fenders.
Inside, the new XJ50 gets a logo on the centre armrest. One also gets diamond-quilted leather seats, anodised paddle gearshifts, metal drilled pedals and illuminated tread plates. Powering the XJ50 is a 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine that has a peak output of 310PS.
