International Women’s Day: Maruti comes out with new offers

It’s Women’s Day, alright! Maruti Suzuki is joining the country in celebrating this occasion with special offers. Starting from today until March 31, 2019, female customers get an array of incentives. Vehicles registered in the name of female owners stand to get discounts on labour charges as well as on accessories and spare parts. Not only this, the owners will also get free service vouchers as well as a complimentary dry wash for their Maruti Suzuki cars. Moreover, the customers also get a free pick and drop for their vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki has always been in the forefront of women-centric initiatives. If a car is registered in the name of a female owner, complimentary pick and drop service was provided for the free services. Maruti has also recently extended the service centre work hours and included a night shift too.

Speaking on the initiative Partho Banerjee, executive director (service), Maruti Suzuki India, said, “On the occasion of International Women’s Day, our women customers will have exclusive deals and discounts as a way to show our support and gratitude. Last year, over eighteen thousand women participated in the service camps. Progressively, more women customers are driving their cars to service workshops.

Maruti Suzuki recently introduced the new Ertiga as well as the WagonR in India. Both these vehicles have received a great response from the buying populace. Moreover, the facelifted Ignis too was launched a couple of weeks ago. The diesel engine has been discontinued officially for this model as well. In the coming weeks, Maruti is expected to bring in its in-house developed 1.5-litre diesel engine. This engine will be used in the Ciaz and Ertiga first. Other Maruti cars like the Baleno, Swift, Dzire, S-Cross and Vitara Brezza will get it at a later stage. Prices of these vehicles too are expected to go up a bit.
