Kawasaki India recently announced a price cut for the ZX-10R and ZX-10RR after it started locally assembling these superbikes. Now, it looks like the Indian motorcycle lovers have lapped up the ZX-10R superbike within days of announcing the massive price cut. Kawasaki has now told all its dealerships in India to stop accepting bookings for the ZX-10R motorcycles. While announcing the local assembly of the motorcycles, Kawasaki India had instructed the dealerships that the reduced price will be applicable for all bookings done till July 2018. Thereafter, there will be a significant price rise for these models.
While only 100 motorcycles were up for sale, it is surprising to know that Kawasaki has managed to sell these ZX-10Rs which are priced at Rs 12.80 lakh so fast. The bikes which were assembled here have a single seat and Kawasaki is happy to supply you with a pillion seat for some extra money. It is expected that bookings with the new increased price should start sometime early next month while deliveries of the bikes will begin in a phased manner.
