Suzuki Gixxer 250 vs Yamaha FZ25: Spec Comparison

Ever since the Yamaha FZ250 was launched, we knew that Suzuki had something up its alley too. That the company preferred to launch the Gixxer SF250 before the naked version was another story. Now that it’s here, we know that the Gixxer 250 is priced Rs 10,000 less than the fully faired version.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 also has a higher strung engine in this comparison. It boasts 26.5PS of power and 22.6Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are disc brakes on both ends and dual channel ABS too is on offer. In the meanwhile, there is the Yamaha FZ250 that makes less than 20PS of power and nearly the same amount of torque as well. The gearbox is a 5-speeder. This Yam is smooth like the Suzuki’s mill but doesn’t have the horses to keep a sustained 100kmph. It is also slightly less fuel efficient too. That being said, the Yamaha FZ250 is priced relatively lower than the Suzuki. Do check the specs for the complete story.
